ROHIT GUPTA

Director

With over two decades of international hospitality experience, Rohit is specialised in developing Middle Eastern business for the world’s most iconic uber-luxury hotels.


A member of the pre-opening team of the world’s tallest all-suite hotel, Burj Al Arab – one of the most iconic and luxurious properties in the world, Rohit held numerous senior sales, business development and marketing roles for Dubai-based hospitality group Jumeirah during his 15-year tenure. He managed sales & marketing for individual hotels, was responsible for cluster sales and key account management, and led the group’s Middle East Global Sales Office from Dubai with sales representatives in Saudi Arabia and India.


In 2015, Rohit moved to London to establish the Middle East market for The Set Hotels. He transformed their Middle Eastern business into a top source market in five short years, achieving growth of over 350%. 


An expert in developing markets for new and rebranded luxury hotels, as well as promoting less travelled destinations and supporting hotels in secondary locations, Rohit tackles challenges head-on and has consistently delivered 10 to 15% annual growth to his clients over the years. 


His entrepreneurial attitude and passion for creating and driving new initiatives led to the establishment of Luxury Leads in 2020. Rohit’s vision for the Luxury Leads is to become the representation partner of choice in the Middle East for exclusive luxury hotels around the world.

MAJED AL QASEM

Director

Majed is a highly regarded hotel sales expert with over 18 years’ experience in the luxury hospitality and travel trade industries within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). He has worked with some of the region’s biggest hospitality and travel corporations. 

 

Majed started his career in 2003 with Alshamel International, one of the leading regional travel management companies, and was the representative of Carlson Wagonlit Travel in the GCC. During his tenure at Alshamel International, Majed worked his way up from Sales Executive to Branch Manager, Director of Procurement and Regional Manager (B2B). He established Alshamel Holidays as a wholesaler in Kuwait and Jordan and headed up procurement and supplier relations for the whole region. 

 

Most recently, Majed was the Director of Sales – Saudi Arabia and Kuwait for Leading Hotels of the World for nearly six years. During this time he established a solid market share across all segments in both markets, resulting in year-on-year growth. 

 

Majed is an industry innovator with a solid track record in the region. He believes his success lies not only in his passion for the luxury hospitality industry, but also in his intuition regarding the needs of the Middle Eastern customer. This commitment and insight has made him a master in creating a solid and steady database for launching new luxury products and an expert in increasing revenue for well-established luxury hotels, by enhancing their market share and increasing their ADR.

MAJED AL QASEM

Director
